View Larger MapCamp Whanawhana The river sparkled as the sun rose, it is such a beautiful view – you will struggle to take your eyes off it. As we walk I feel like I have gone off into a wonderland. I just loved the feel of Camp Whanawhana. Oh and how can I forget the lovely orange topped staff, they were just amazing, how they made us feel safe and didn’t put us down.They were just fantastic, encouraging,friendly, knowledgeable and just brilliant. I would tell you my favourite one but it would have to be them all. A perfect match with this wonderland. Camp Whanawhana J As you wake up the cacophony of birds chirp, and the sun sparkles on the river it just makes you want to jump in. The smooth pebbles on the river bank crunch under your feet as you walk. The hills at Whanawhana change colour as the suns angle changes. The long grass in the paddock tickles your ankles as you run around looking for clues. The kiwi adventure co. staff kindly greet you as they walk past. They are always smiling and very organised. They have a P for positive attitude-always having fun, keeping us going, encouraging us, and giving us feedback. Camp Whanawhana is an awesome place I really suggest going there!!!JElla
River Rafting First when you do tubes rafting you get a helmet and abounsyade then you tie the tubes together with string and when you’ve done that you listen to what Clem says so you can go onto the river bed with your team mates, and the parent that’s with you? And how to get down the river you have a paddle to Gide you. Then you start going down the river and start having fun. Cat Our fave things about camp were...........
